Winter wedding -throw blankets

Me and my FH are considering this for our October 5th wedding - cheapest place to get them that I have been able to find was Ikea at $3/each and that would be their wedding favours as well. I would wait till you have rough numbers (after you get majority of RSVP's) and go from there. Our guest list was 250 (2 rounds of invites) and right now after sending out the 2nd wave we have 180 confirmed so we will probably get 250 blankets but be able to return the unused ones.

I love this idea, I think it is so cute! I was considering it for our fall wedding as well but hoping the weather is quite warm. I did a quick check on FP's groups and Swap n Buys as well, to see if people were re selling theirs! I found a few at the time. So maybe try that? I think it would be fine to have mis matched blankets.

Love the rhyme of the blanket for winter theme. Since you may need more than just 1 or 2, its best to inquire with Bed, Bath and Beyond or other retail stores if they could order in for you and if there would be a discount for the quantity your looking into.

Ordering online may save you some though the word LOT is another way of saying bulk for large quantity and based on the price they are selling for. Caution that it may not be enough and the same you want with another type of blankets available you want of a particular style. Check both ways out and see what works best for you.

I love this idea for fall/winter weddings.

Check out Etsy for sure, Amazon may have some good deals, Walmart has some nice blankets for a good price too!
