Why did you pick your wedding season?

I'm obsessed with fall and fall colours!!! My original wedding colours were blush, I had always wanted these colours.... as I started planning I realized I didn't really like the look of the blush with the fall colours.... now my colours are burgundy and a taupe and ill have a bit of the blush mixed in between! Still not 100% sure about how blush with look with the red, orange and yellows though.... : /

I picked a winter wedding because I really don't like winter in Ontario. That is why we are having a destination wedding in Jamaica :-) January 2020

I chose Autumn for our wedding because we both sweat way too much in the Summer. I also love the colour palette of an Autumn wedding -- reds and yellows and earthy greens. I want a cozy, rustic wedding we can end with a bonfire and cuddled up in flannels.

View quoted message Fall is definitely a close second for me. The colours are amazing, hot apple cider, pumpkin spices. No bugs or getting over heated in a dress or tux.

We started dating in the fall and we are getting married in the fall

I love the Fall, it is so beautiful with the colours. It is going to make for some breathtaking photos. It is also my favourite season because I am obsessed with Halloween! I would have picked that as our date however, our sons birthday is at that time and we didn’t want to overshadow his big day with ours. I know someone who grew up with her birthday on the same day as her parents wedding anniversary, as a child she hated having to share the spotlight. So we decided not to do that to him.

I love october. It's my favorite month and I just always knew I wanted a fall wedding.

I love winter, it is by far my favourite season. I love the aesthetic of winter. i think snow is so pretty and it's such a cozy time of year with fireplaces and hot chocolate and big sweaters and blankets. Plus, i've much rather be cold than hot. The first wedding I ever went to was my cousin's and it was a winter wedding and it made me fall in love with the idea. their photos in the snow were beautiful. The bride had a gorgeous red cape

We both love fall so much, and fall weather.

FH also is not a fan of being hot and sweaty in a suit, so summer was out of the question for us. I also love the colours during the fall. It makes a very natural backdrop for weddings which was the look I wanted to go for.
