Hello everyone,

I am searching well ahead of schedule, but I would like to get as much information as possible so my fiancee` and i can list/compare and agree on all the final choices.

for the time being I would like to know if/who are the wedding commissioners or Justice of the Peace or pretty much any ordained minister in Okanagan, BC

You can also ask your venue if they have prefered vendors. We found our officiant through our venues prefered list

I'm not sure qbout writing our own vows as my fiancé is not very good at expressing his emotions especially in front of our friends and family. As for the type of wedding.....not too sure yet. We are definitely not religious people. More on the spiritual/astrological side. Our birthdays are 1 day apart, born in the month of may. So we have always referred to one another as our Gemini twin. Our color scheme for the wedding will be white/ivory and dark green emerald. That's what we have so far....

Hi Becky! We used Young, Hip and Married for our wedding in Vancouver and our officiant was exceptional! (He just won BC's Best Officiant for the 3rd year in a row!) I know that they have quite a few officiants and that they travel so I would recommend reaching out to them!

I know in the province of Ontario's website that there is a list of whomever has the ability to preform marriages in the province.
This is what I found for BC. There is a link which takes you to a list of commissioners :
