Robinsons, typically Newfoundland weddings are done outdoors or on the beach or in a church and then the reception is held at one of the local halls there are some really nice places around like shoot lodge in black duck siding or Humber valley resort in the Humber village as well as marble mountain but they are reluctant to take bookings due to talks of the ski resort becoming private and no longer funded by the government.

View quoted message I’m from around the Edmonton area! And he’s from around St.David’s area I went down to NL for the first time last summer and it was beautiful. So I was looking for places around that area or Stephenville i am really looking for anywhere that has a nice view for the ceremony. It doesn’t even have to be an expensive place by any means

Where is your fiancé from in nl the island is fairly large so depending what area your getting married in dictates a lot of What is available to you.

Hello fellow brides to be I want to share a little bit of background about my wedding in hopes I can get a bit of help… I am actually from Alberta and my Fiancé is from NL. We currently live in Alberta but we want to get married in NL… I am just no sure where to start for looking at Venues and all the other great stuff. So if anyone has any spots they can recommend??
