Who knew about the proposal before you did?

His mom and Nan, and my mom and dad since he asked permission.... Maybe some of our friends

My parents knew as he asked for permission. His parents and his brother knew. 2 of our best friends came with us on vacation and he proposed on the beach. They obviously knew beforehand. It's so fun when people know, you can share it with them right away.

No one! He's generally a quiet reserved kind a guy ..mostly lol.

I would say my Fmil knew before he proposed to me as he is close to her.

Oh she is easy... woman can't keep a secret to save her life! And I COULD have let him tell her so I could know, but I thought I would be nice and warn him

Just like with presents... I warned him early that he can never hide anything for me in the house because I WILL find it and I WILL look for it!! And yet he STILL sucks at hiding things! Last year he left my christmas presents in the box they shipped in in our basement behind a chair.... so when I passed by the chair to get something for dinner, the box was immediately visable and sitting open. It's like he's not even trying!! At least give me a challenge

My mom and younger sisters knew because they helped him pull it off! He also called his mom and forewarned her before he proposed. But no one else knew so I got to announce it to everyone!

FH's dad, aunt and sister... that's it. Well he asked my mom for my ring size, but I warned him that he couldn't tell her anything because she would immediately tell me, even if he asked her not to. My dad, my future in-laws and my best friend...FH did a pretty good job keeping things quiet! My dad didn't even tell my mom!

My mom, step-dad, dad, step-mom and my one sister knew about it because my FH asked permission for my hand in marriage and asked both my mom and my dad since they are divorced!
