Thank you Vinod! But will my wedding will happen, that is the question with all this virus! Since I have family, who need to fly from Europe. Will wait till beginning of May, before making any decision! But I am mentally ready to put it for next year, the same place, the same time, just different year. Would not even send out new invitations, since it is small wedding!

Sounds you have a great show for the wedding to fill the time in between meals and speech time for entertainment. Its great your doing something you like and have thought of everyone at the same time as yourselves.

That Corona! My wedding is in 24.06.2020. But 3 of my family people need to fly from Europe, Latvia, to Canada! So i will just pray, that all this will change till the middle of May! If not, will need to cancel the wedding!

Our wedding main color will be pink ( and it is not my favorite color and gold, some white. Idea was first all white, but for extra color I decided pink with white.

We are doing purples and soft yellows. More springtime colours but we are basing the colour off of the first bouquet my fiance picked for me years ago and it's all yellows and purples.

I will definitely post some good pics, but I am ready, that things could go not as planned ( maybe more with timing, like delay and so on ), that's why there is like not too much tasks during wedding for me. All the responsibilities on vendors. And 2 girls who I hired for day of coordinators.

We are mostly done all the planning, just have to put together my bouquet and we have a little DIY project we are going to do over the weekend soon and then its just finalizing things doe dinner and that sort of thing. It's coming up quick

Amanda, in my wedding, will be things, which I have not seen in other weddings what I have attended. Half naked Brazilian dancers 30 min show to open dance floor and magician 30 min I want before main meal, since people will be full after cocktail h canapes and 2 appetizers before main meal. So it would be good to have break of 30 min for belly..

I still think, do i need him an extra 1 h during cocktail h with magician, when he just visit people and make fun with everyone, even with kids. Since cocktail hour will be 1.30 h. Since I have never seen his show in person, I am a little bit scared to have something I dont know in person ( too much )( plus, walk around show is not the same as show when he is doing with staged table, difficult to make decision ) ! Or maybe, I just could have him for cocktail h) It is difficult to decide, since I have not seen him in person!

Wedding is very small about 25-28 people. Family and very close family friends. So even during cocktail h no one would feel alone, but magician just can give extra fun, I dont know still!

I even inventing new things for bouquet trowing, people sometimes are shy or dont feel to participate, so I will have a gift ( gift card from home sense ) for the winner, so all ladies will participate.

I've never heard of a magician at a wedding but I LOVE the idea! I agree, speeches usually get boring unless you are really close to the couple and understand all the references the person speaking makes. Mostly I'm just hungry and wanting to eat when speeches are happening. A magician is a great way to keep people entertained

I just changed my plan as well, that we will not have the magicien for walk around the tables for extra h, only 30 min show in front and that is it, since all is good in small portions.

Well at this point it would be pointless to check Kijiji for me Got married this past October, but most of the people we were looking into that had websites and were professional were looking for upwards of $1,000 which we don't feel is equal to what they are worth to us.

Tori...That's our plan! 1 h he will walk from table to table during dinner and in the end he will give nicer show of 30 min for all of us. And if we have 4 table..15 min at each table is ok. and if 5 table even less. So you dont feel it. And little 30 min show will be ok as well, as people can still sit at their dining table if they want to. And we have few young children, they will love it as well, since he do shows for adults and kids! Price was better if you go longer. Since I have cut of so much money on flowers and decoration, we could afford extra show. I found him on kijiji! Have you check on Kijiji?

Yes Amelia...If not well planned speech, it can be long or boring, or even end up with emotional crying.

For sure you can have a good speech as well, with good humor!

But definitely, speeches are very common in all the weddings!

And I agree with you, speeches are not always a fun part of weddings (I went to a wedding where the father of the bride went on and on about his new son in law that it sucked a lot of the fun out of the speeches)
