Whisky pouring ceremony

We really wanted to include a whisky pouring ceremony during our ceremony (something like a unity ceremony when you light a candle or pour the sand) The Toronto Distillery Company had the Age your own whisky kit - which was perfect and I was going to do ... except their retail section is now closed!! Anyone have any ideas?? I have contacted JP Wisers, Crown etc who don't have any connections for me - although they did think it was a great idea and said I would be the first to know, if they decide to offer something like that! I can easily get the barrel from the states - it's just getting the right whisky to pour in to age..

    Yes I ended up purchasing a small barrel off etsy. and then purchased white rye.
    Our officiant came up with a small blurb while we poured.
    We tried the whisky recently - uh the after taste was terrible (very woody) Smiley amazing

    Did you end up finding anything for this? I am also interested in doing a whisky pouring ceremony as my fiance doesn't do wine.

    It's not very common - I can't seem to find much on it. It's similar to a wine ceremony - would be great if we drank wine Smiley winking
