That is one struggle in my area was finding somewhere that our friends or family didn't get married/celebrate at. We picked ceremony as he wanted that location and venue was based on how close it was to the first location. There was no meaning for the section location for us

It's beautiful! I hope the weather cooperates for you I agree with you in regards to being comfortable on your wedding day. If your not religious doesn't make sense to have it in a church

There are a bunch of ceremony space options at our venue but we're pretty sure we'll pick this one, weather permitting. Otherwise we'll move into our reception space. It doesn't have any special meaning except that it's right on Lake Huron, with which my family has had ties for a long time. My FH's family is Greek so they were disappointed (some more than others) that we wouldn't be doing the big church wedding. But we're both outdoorsy people, neither of us are religious, and I was adamant that I didn't want to feel uncomfortable on my wedding day. We'll do some traditional Greek dancing at the reception instead

Our wedding ceremony will be at St. Paul’s Basilica in Downtown Toronto! This church has been on our radar as our #1 ideal place to get married for so many years even before we got engaged. After our first trip around Europe and seeing all the incredible achitecture and artistry at the many basilicas and cathedrals we visited, it really solidified that St. Paul’s Basilica is where we should get married. We chose downtown Toronto because of how much the city played a part in our most transformative years (we both went finished our bachelor’s downtown, grad school, lived together for the first time downtown, started our careers downtown, etc).

Our ceremony is outside at our reception venue so both are in the same location. I actually chose the space while they were redoing it. It’s very simple and beautiful yet matches our rustic chic look we are going for.

It will *hopefully* be an outdoor ceremony. Date is in early October which is a hit or a miss here in Southern Alberta. Luckily my venue can accommodate both indoor and outdoor and we don't have to decide until 5pm the night before. The ceremony and reception are the same venue, one following the other. We had our eye on the venue for the reception a long time ago, and the outdoor ceremony spaces works just perfect. Lots of pretty natural fall foilage for the backdrop so very little decor is needed.

It'll be an outdoor ceremony, weather permitting. The venue will host both the ceremony and reception.

The location doesn't hold any sentimental meaning or anything. It just fit our budget and hadn't already been used for any of our friends' weddings in the past.

We are having an outdoor ceremony. When we were looking at venues we wanted to make sure that they had an outdoor ceremony location that had some trees in the background. We knew that neither of us wanted a church wedding, and we looked into a beach wedding but didn't want to deal with the sand getting everywhere.

Our ceremony is the same location as our reception but different room. It's a barn that had big doors that when you slide them open it opens into the reception so it stays closed for the ceremony then for the reception the ceremony side gets turned into the dance floor.
We stand up on the upper part and our wedding party is lined up down the stairs.

We’re getting married in a polish Roman Catholic Church.

not really our choice. It was something that was important to his parents.

We will be having ours on the beach in Cozumel. We chose Cozumel because A. We go for Christmas every year with his family, and B. This is where we got engaged We love the island so incredibly much, we can't wait to share it with the rest of the family.

A local rose garden. It's just down the street from our house and about a 5 minute walk from our reception venue. Our daughter and us love hanging out there in the summer.

We're having a church ceremony. It's my fiance's family church, and it's very beautiful and grand. We originally wanted to elope, so it would have been at city hall, but his family really wanted a religious ceremony.

It has beachy/tropical vibes but it's indoors with a retractable glass roof. I'm hoping we are able to have the roof open on our day!
