Where are you getting married/ having your reception!

Hello Lovely Ladies!

Even though I already have my venue, I would love to see how many different venues are out there! I love to see the places that people get married at and turn into their own little party place!

When we were searching we wanted something that included a lot of a low price. We looked into wineries, halls, etc. But I really wanted something different.

Our Ceremony will be at Club Roma in their onsite garden, and then our reception in the Starlight Room.

Where is your venue? What "perks" were you looking for when searching for a place to hold your ceremony or reception!

I would love to see pictures of what different venues are out there in our beautiful province!

    Our ceremony and reception are going to be at the Ancaster Mill.

    We didn't have an enormous guest list and we wanted the space to feel classy and intimate. We also needed something close to the highway with awesome signage so that all of our guests could get to it easily without getting lost. As a couple, we've been to enough weddings that we knew we wanted something unique feeling with incredible food.

    We got married and had our reception at the Kempenfelt Conference Centre in Innisfil. It closed down end of October 2017.

    Great venues!

    Our wedding ceremony will take place at St. Paul’s Basilica in Downtown Toronto & our wedding reception will take place at Liberty Grand, also in Downtown Toronto. We wanted to choose venues with powerful and incredible architecture that would set the tone for our wedding, in a city that means a lot for both of us individually and as a couple! Plus, it’s close to the majority of our friends and family and surrounded by a lot of options for accommodations for all of our out-of-town guests.

    WOW! Those are both super beautiful! You honestly would not even be able to tell that your reception space is a hall, it looks so beautiful.

    When picking venues we ideally wanted something that was all in one (ceremony and reception on site), but when that wasn't happening, we looked at other options. McMichael is so close to where we live, so it's up the road, beautiful, and relatively affordable. The Terrace fit most of what we were looking for in a banquet hall; no partiaian wall, private restrooms for our guest, and the right price! It's also close to home, so that made it all the better Smiley smile
