When did / will you choose your wedding rings?

My fiance cant wear his ring at work either since he is an electrician. Instead i made a braided leather necklace that he just loops his ring through and it sits under his shirt. That way he can still have it on him at work without it being a hazard. And since its on him all the time he remembers to put it on after work

Already have them! My fiance and I decided to skip engagement rings and just buy our weddings bands right off the bat. Save some money and I'm not really one for fancy rings. I wanted something indestructible and flat haha. We are wearing them on our right hands until we get married and them will swap them over to our left hands

Well we tried it on at Birks, but we are getting them made at La Boutique in Vaughan where we bought my engagement ring.

We are just going with plain classic bands! Not to be confused with boring! Lol I just love the centre part of my engagement ring so much that I wanted a thin classic band to highlight the centre stone. FH just wants a classic band too!!! He's a classy guy!

My FH bought my wedding ring and engagement ring together before he proposed. I bought his ring in November.

We ordered them on Amazon, then his mom gave me her grandmother's band and he didn't like the thickness of his, so both were returned... I love mine, not what I wanted but super meaningful... Since he will not wear a ring we will get something cheap for the ceremony.

That is a good point! Haha I have the opposite problem with my husband. He always wears his and I have to remind him when to take it off. It's so cute how much he loves it!

This was a struggle for me ... since FH wont be wearing his daily due to his job... but I fought and I won the argument ... and yeah we have a ring lol .... i told him I needed something to put on his finger for the wedding and I would like him to wear one when we go out together for a nice meal or night on the town and he finally gave it ! its not your typical ring but it suits him to a T so its perfect and he loves it !

He doubted that the food plants he goes into would allow those either- and I'm OK with that. I'm actualy pretty OK with him not wearing a ring 90% of the time...but I wan t soemthing to put on his finger at the wedding! *foot stomp*

Well that's good that you balance each other out! What does he think about silicone rings? I know that a lot of guys wear those for work and then their wedding ring around the house or when going out.

We got my rings about 2 years after he proposed! (but luckily before the wedding ) My husband decided 2 days before that he was going to propose so he just got a simple ring and said that we could design something together, which was really meaningful for me. We ended up going through a private jeweler and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out!

We picked out my husband's ring about 7 months before the wedding. He loves it and it makes me so happy to see him wearing it all the time now!

I have NO idea. We were out (much like Val) just walking around and I was like" lets have a look, just to see your ring size, and what widths you like.

He was all "no-nonononono- we can look another day". I asked what and he said he just didn't feel like the hassle. I'm going to have to bug him again.

I do suspect it is because he won't wear it much that he doens't see it as a big deal. He works in industrial settings- so rings are a big no-no.

He also has a strange concept of time sometimes, and kind of flys by the seat of his pants. We balance each other out that way

He needs to get on it! Depending on what he chooses, they can take a month or two to come in. What's holding him back?

OMG I had to fight FH to look at first, he made such a big deal out of it for no reason (we happened to be walking by a store in the mall and were killing time anyways, and I just wanted to see what kind of thickness and style he liked). They can be so stubborn sometimes!!!

I have mine already! My FH is super stubborn and has been to look at wedding bands once but basically isn't feeling anything. ughhh lol

We have not started looking for bands yet....FH is being a pain about this! I'm going to have to drag him at some point!!

Ours are currently en route to us! I ordered from Etsy and I am DYING to see how they turned out!!!!!!!!!! This is what FH`s looks like, and mine will be similar but thinner and purple (instead of blue)
