What's everyone doing for wedding favours?

Melanie, on November 17, 2025 at 10:43 Posted in Wedding reception 0 12

I know all the options... food, little trinkets with something written on them, a donation in lieu of favours...

Just wondering what people are ACTUALLY doing. Wedding is June 2026 in Woodstock, Ontario Smiley smile

We just take into account how much we'd spend on favours and instead put that money towards a donation to a charity/ cause.

An excellent idea. If we didn’t need to provide our own non-breakable cups I would have gone that route myself.

Likewise. We're making a donation in lieu of party favours.

They're personalized epoxy magnets and they're individually boxed and sealed with a dried flower

Aw that’s nice. We’re thinking the same idea. Our venue doesn't allow glass drink ware apart from at dinner so we’re leaning towards reusable cups personalized for the wedding as favours so also two birds one stone.

We're having treats wrapped in tulle and tagged with bride & groom names, and potentiall one side will have their own names and their table number (two birds, one stone" kind of thing.

We decided to not do any favours. I have not used any items i received at previous weddings unless sweets.
