What's going on the outside of your cake?

Are you all about buttercream?

We had a small cake on top and then cupcakes. Just covered with buttercream. Neither of us like fondant so we definitely didn't want that. We just picked a design/style that worked with buttercream.

Only doing a small cake with cupcakes. It'll be fondant. I don't like the taste but since I'm having a winter wedding and I want the cake to glitter like snow it'll have to be fondant. The cupcakes will be buttercream at least.

We're actually getting more of a whipped cream consistency. Here is our inspiration picture:

We'll be going with buttercream - fondant is waaaaaay too sugary for us.

    I think it’s marble fondant.

Going to look something like this.

Buttercream! I love it, I could eat buttercream without the actual cake lol

We're going buttercream, since I can't stand fondant lol (tastes like sugary play-doh to me).

Buttercream most likely. That or just simple icing... I'm okay with a cake from Safeway if need be! lol I just need one to put a cake topper on and to use for the cake cutting part.

We haven't finalized our cake design yet, but it will most likely either be almost naked or buttercream. We are both not fans of fondant.

We will have fondant covering our cake. Neither of us are big fans of the taste of fondant, but the design we want can not be done in buttercream so we can just peel off the fondant on our slices to get to the buttercream under it.
