Dessert time! Did you have a clear vision in mind for your wedding cake? Did you know exactly what you were looking for in a wedding cake, or did you have to shop around for a while? Did you struggle to decide who to hire?

How did you decide which baker you'd trust to make the perfect cake for you?

Quality and taste would be two most important since its about colour and appeal. Buulding a trust with the vendor would be good too for future cakes ever needed for parties.

Taste is #1... and then quality of the finished product. I'm not too picky, but I want it to taste good, and not look like I made it. We are doing a very small cake (2 tiers) and mini cupcakes, so it's not a big elaborate cake to worry about.

It’s taken me awhile to figure out how I wanted it to look but I knew who I wanted our baker to be right away. They’re the best in town! Taste is number one haha

I had no idea what I wanted my cake to look like, but we choose a close friend who is a professional baker to do it for us. We gave her a few ideas, but basically gave her the freedom to make it look however she wanted. I really didn't care since our main thing was cupcakes, which she had amazing flavours. The cake was simply for the cake cutting part.

I didn't need to worry about this as we didn't have a cake for our wedding.

We don’t have a clear vision; we just want something decently priced and most importantly: tastes amazing! We don’t really care what it looks like, because you can have a stunning fondant masterpiece, but no ones going to eat it if it’s garbage!
