What venues do you recommend for a winter wedding?

We are thinking about moving our wedding to a winter month and am looking for recommendations for an ideal venue in the GTA or up to 1 hour or so from Toronto. I'm thinking somewhere with floor to ceiling windows or a clear ceiling would be nice to give a feeling of being outside even though the event is inside. But am also open to hearing any other awesome venues in the area you have been to for winter weddings and recommend.

    The Guild Inn located in Scarborough (Toronto) has huge windows and looks amazing!

    There are a ton of golf and country clubs within a 10-20 minute drive of my wedding location. Bayview, Summit, Thornhill Club, Eagle's Nest, etc. And there's the ClubLink family of clubs are all across the GTA.

    Deer Creek Golf Club in Ajax was under going extensive renovation when I met them in January and the renderings of the space look amazing. If that's not too far for you, check them out.

    I'm getting married at the Richmond Hill Country Club in the winter. They have two ballrooms where it's floor to ceiling windows. I'd imagine many country and golf clubs in the GTA will have this type of feature.

    I've been to a late fall wedding at Fantasy Farms in the middle of mid-town Toronto, just off the highway. No natural ceiling light but one of the walls is pretty much all windows. It's fairly rustic and a nice intimate space.
