What size event tent?

Does anyone have experience with event tents?

I need one to fit 6 8' long tables and a round table. I was thinking of making 5 of the tables connected in some way. and the 6th being the head table. ( fitting 50 people total)

any advice on what size event tent to get?

As Casey mentioned, I would definitely recommend you reach out to a company who rent tents and speak with them about your vision. They would be in the best position to advise what size tent you would need for the specific set up.
There are a ton of companies who rent tents listed on the WeddingWire vendor directory here - Event Rentals.
Where are you thinking of having this tent? Do you have an area in mind?

I do not have any experience personally, but if you contact a couple places that rent these tents, they will be able to give you suggestions as they work with the tents every day!
