Hey - it's hard to complain when you're opening a gift, but sometimes the gifts can be totally weird!!

What is the weirdest or funniest wedding gift you've received so far? Do you have any guests who went totally off-registry and gave you something bizarre? Which gifts made you say "oh wow....you really shouldn't have...."?

Oh friend gave us a "New York Experience" for our wedding gift. We don't leave for 2 weeks and we have no idea what it is so that is weird but I am looking forward to it.

I think the weirdest thing we got was a genealogy "book" from one of my husband's aunts. It is just web pages printed on her home computer and put together. The print quality is really crappy too. The funniest thing we got was something that we both saw and thought was an hysterical throw away gift....a vertical waffle maker from Cuisinart. It takes up so little space and is awesome!!!

We got salt and pepper shakers that are an avocado and its pit...we're not entirely sure what to do with them, they are cute but don't really go with our kitchen!
