What flavour is your wedding cake?

Lynnie, on October 13, 2017 at 11:05 Posted in Wedding reception 0 11

Yuuuummmm! So many cake decisions, so little time! Smiley tongue

What flavour is your wedding cake? Did you pick just one flavour, or are you doing different flavours for different tiers? Tell us all about it!

Strawberry shortcake! There's this little company in his hometown that makes them from scratch and they're the only cake he will eat! Haha

Our venue provided the most amazing deserts so we didn't feel we needed a fancy wedding cake. Ours was a slab cake from Costco in vanilla with a creamy filling. It was delicious and I added some silk flowers and my little bride and groom with Mr. and Mrs. behind them. Inexpensive ($20.00) and delicious.

Our cake was red velvet! We did cupcakes for the guests and we had 3 different flavours - one was red velvet, one was hazelnut, one was salted caramel!

We are going to be doing two different flavors, black forest because that is my FH favorite, and lemon because that is my favourite!

We did a lemon cake with raspberry filling with a white buttercream frosting. It was really yummy and everyone commented on it being the best wedding cake they had ever eaten. We barely had any leftover.
