I'm happier with the coral on these too! I also learned I can make the coral up to a week in advance and it won't get sticky so that's good! One less thing to do the day before!

Thanks! I think it's that the icing is more white with hints of blue, so that helps. And there will be more icing (so you can't see any of the cupcake!) along with the seashell wrapper.

Thanks all! Yes, we're going to be adjusting the amount of blue - I really only want mostly white with just a touch of blue to the icing. Hopefully that will keep people's mouths from turning blue!

The sugar work was remarkably easy to make - I have a few more tests to run of it, but I think it's going to be great.

I'll be ordering chocolate seashells and candy pearls to add as well.

Nice work on the sugar designs and look great for the theme. Love the icing colour of the sea.

Super cute! That's great! I really like the blue/green sugar decorations, kind of looks like kelp or coral floating in the ocean. Great job!

My only suggestion would be: the icing that is piped in a swirl, perhaps get a larger icing tip... so it will look fuller without having gaps, or using more icing.
