So far I bought a vintage suitcase... want to put a little craft work into it saying "cards" are the top! And maybe somehow make a collage of hubby and I inside of the suitcase I plan on crafting the centre pieces as well.. but there's tons of ideas floating around in my head.

I found the image for the controller heart online and tweaked it a bit, added the "Player 1" "Player 2" part and cut it on vinyl (used for wall decals) using a Cricut (best machine ever). You can buy similarish ones on Etsy, but I just couldn't justify the money (not that they were outrageous or anything, just getting tight on budget and there were other places I needed the money... this was an absolute luxury item for me) and none of the ones I found were exactly what I was picturing in my head.
The actual painting was crazy easy and fast... it was getting that stencil just right that took some time lol
So you drew and cut out the stencil ? What did you use!? Thank you for this amazing idea.. I usually do the oil based sharpies from michaels on mugs, wine glasses. But I LOVE the look of this. You did an amazing job. Hubby and I love gaming lol.

Thank you! You can buy "glass etching paint" at Michaels (don't forget to use a coupon) and then you make/buy a stencil (something that will stick to the glass, not just out of paper as the paint really gets in every crack), Then you just put the stencil on the glass and put a THICK coat of the paint on, let it sit for 60 seconds and wash the paint off with water. Peel off the stencil and boom, etched glass! It is REALLY on there too, I tried scraping at it with my nail (to clean up some of the edges) and not even a tiny piece would come off. Which is both awesome and annoying (since I wish I could have cleaned up my edges a little).
Be careful not to have any on your hands either! When I was doing the backs I noticed when I was cleaning it off that I must have had a dot on my hand because there's a random dot of the etching on the side, only I will see it, but it annoys me a bit lol
Here is a pick of the back when I was letting the paint set
Early stages of planning, but have been storing away supplies for years lmao! Will be making log disc centerpieces, with lanterns for candle & pitchers for flowers... Large milk jugs for flowers around the venue, crates for decor, cowboy boot vases...if we dont go with e-vites, will be making the save the date and invites AND thank you cards. Will make the guest gifts and a groom and groomsment gift basket for day of....more to come!

I have a new one for the list too... just finished our "toasting flutes". I was going to buy nice skinny champagne flutes, but then when we went to our tasting they gave us these really nice ones... so I just cleaned them off and did the etching myself. I also put the wedding date and our names on the back... but you know, privacy and the Internet and all
Lol it's not just a laminator. The reviews and comparison shows the Minc is much better and doesn't make the foil blotchy!!! Start practicing so you can do my invites! Lol

Haha FH was laughing at me when I listed them all to see if I forgot something. And hopefully nothing NEW at this point... there has to be a cut off a SOME point!!
Table numbers, engagement Invitations, cork place card holders, and maybe tissue packages. Brides and grooms keep inspiring me to try more DIYs so hope this list gets bigger as time goes...,.Or do I? Lol
Haven't purchased the globe yet but we may get a simple one and simply paint it in our wedding colours. My FH drunkenly volunteered to help with that specifically last night haha So I think on illustrator or photoshop I'm just going to design these 3 by 11 inch cards for tables with groom and bride fun facts and baby pictures of us and print on cardstock. Then get/make little cloppy things to gold them in place and maybe make a game out of it. DIY in he sense that I'll do the design myself not super crafty! (Yay for being taught basic digital graphic design in high school!)
Those sound great! The globe guestbook will be so nice! Have you purchased the globe already? What style is it? (Like one of those funky artistic ones or an old school map?)
Centerpieces (10 unique custom board games), invitations, menus, various signs, light-up letters, programs, mini tissue boxes, bridesmaids gifts (sweaters and hangers), groomsmen gifts (monogramed ties and pocket squares), table numbers, flower lanterns, place card flowers, place card name tags, escort cards, guest book, bathroom baskets, ring box, paper lanterns, card box, my bouquet... I THINK that's it... there's probably more I'm not thinking of at the moment.
My table numbers, and then I am putting together my centerpieces but I don't have to make anything for it, just buy some things and put it all together !
