What did you put your cake on?

We rented a stand but its all sparkilie and full of rhinestones!

Thank you so much for all the great ideas, ladies! I decided to put it on the entrance table from our home. It's a small mahogany table and I think it would be sentiment because it's the first thing we go to before we leave and enter.

We are putting it on a cupcake stand. There's a flat part on top for the cake and cupcakes will be underneath.

We had a Korovai - so we just put it on a Ukrainian linen

My wedding will have a woodsy /whimsy feel so my parents are making me a birch cupcake stand. This is the inspiration for it

I guess it depends on your wedding style.
I've seen some clear acrylic pedestals (so the cake looks like it's floating), suspended surfaces (I'm clumsy so no thanks!) from the ceiling, ladders are a cute rustic idea going around lately as are barrels (wine, whiskey, you name it!).

Our wedding has the rustic vibe, so we're thinking of putting our cupcakes on a ladder like the pic. But don't think it would for a cake lol I've seen one where they hung a chandelier low from the ceiling and had the cake on top of a flat disk on top of the chandelier. More of a dramatic and glamorous route of that's what you're into
