What are your plans for Valentine's Day?

We just had some quiet time at home!!

No matter where we are or what we are doing, we always have sushi on Valentine's day. I took him to a sushi restaurant on Valentine's Day the first time he came to visit me in Canada, and now it is a tradition of ours.

We always pick a romantic movie, make cheese fondue and have a dessert! Keep it low key but still special.

We're going out for dinner at the Mandarin because nothing is more romantic than me stuffing my face until I need to be rolled home . Then going home to nap/write thank you cards.

Since valentine's day is on a Friday this year, we knew all the restaurants would be super busy so we are staying in and eating homemade cheesecake (maybe some actual dinner too lol). Tomorrow, we'll be going out for dinner!

He's making me tacos & margaritas. He knows the way to my heart!

We don't celebrate! We've been together for 2.5 years today though which is exciting!

We're going to look at furniture for our new home this long weekend (YAY!!).

Yesterday we went to see Old Dominion in concert so tonight we are going to relax at home, order in some food, and relax and watch a movie. We never go out for dinner on Valentine's because they are always so busy, so we are going out to Earl's tomorrow night instead.

We're buying new couches and moving them today and getting rid of the old one, so after all that heavy lifting we'll probably put the new ones to good use later tonight and just binge watch some Vikings (super romantic show!😂) and order food in.

Working on the day and celebrating tomorrow possibly at Red Lobster after work.

I think we will go out to eat (his choice of place), and then go back home and have a few drinks while I pack his suitcase Sadly he has a flight on Sunday to go work in Alberta again for 6 weeks At least he will be home for a weekend right in the middle to split it up as 3 weeks and 3 weeks?
