Well first attempt. Not bad...

I need to get some beading to go around the base where globe meets it. A little more water in the globe will look better too. I think I'll also get the little mirrors from dollar store to set them on

Looks beautiful! Michael's has 1m (I think) rolls of connected rhinestones in all kinds of colours, it's like a mesh background but looks nicer than it sounds. Or dollar store has sheets of it if you don't mind cutting out strips, but I think Michael's was cheaper for what you get. Cant wait to see it all finished!

This looks great! I am always in awe of people who are really crafty, because I could never pull anything like this off.

I'm more about the colours of the flowers than the flowers themselves. I've never been a big flower lover being hit hard by hayfever allergies. I like pictures of flowers but I'm not a fan of flowers in an enclosed area.

That is where I am still thinking. I know I want fake but there are so many to choose from. The fake wood ones are beautiful some of the silk ones are really pretty or do I go with the cheaper fresh Costco flowers for the toppers of my vases....luckily I have time. I may try out making some paper flowers to see how they look....

They are pretty easy. I bought the snowglobe from dollar tree. I spray painted the numbers silver (also from dollar tree). I super glued a snowflake to the back to make the base a bit thicker, then super glued the bottom to the bottom of snowglobe. Some glitter in favour colour (I used a iridescent white). I put some ribbon around the base with silver glitter ribbon glued to it. Presto done. I also glued some of the iridescent glitter to the bottom of the inside of the globe. Add your water. The water makes the numbers look bigger. All together except for drying time I made 15 in about an hour.

So far so good! We are doing rustic wooden boxes, which I plan to fill with some sorts of flowers (probably fresh from Costco). Just need to find something sturdy/ light weight for the bottoms 😊
