Welcome bags for destination wedding

Shelley, on July 16, 2017 at 14:03 Posted in Before the wedding 0 2

Hi there - I was wondering if anyone has put together welcome bags for their guests at a destination wedding. If so, what did you include and where did you purchase them from? I'm thinking that it would be great to include insulated mugs and I'm wondering if anyone has found a great place to get them from. I appreciate any and all ideas! Thanks!!

We did a domestic wedding and in our welcome bag we put bottled water, granola bar, chocolates in an organza bag and mixed nuts in another organza bag. It was something that was started by one of my cousins and continued the trend. It was different foe both my cousins wedding what they included in their bags.

Hi there Shelley! I did not have a destination wedding, but I had many guests attend from out of town so I did make welcome bags. I filled them with bottled water, granola bars, headache medicine, tissues, candy, information about the local area, and an info card with day-of information like what time the guest shuttle was coming and the details about the welcome drinks reception and the after wedding brunch. I got these items at Costco so they would be cheap! An insulated mug sounds like an awesome thing to include!
