Welcome Bags Done!

Gina, on April 21, 2019 at 08:23 Posted in DIY 0 17
Just finished 19 welcome bags late last night!
I think they turned out well. There is also a thank you card in each bag. If you are making welcome bags, what are you planning on putting in? I wish we had the single packs of Advil to put in, but couldn’t find them yesterday. Lol.

Those look great! I'm still debating what I want to put in our welcome bags.

Looks good! I would ask a pharmacy if they sell them in a box- with bunch singles inside!

You can really save a bunch by not adding wine! We paid about $380 for 19 bags (we also added two bags of chips per gift bag)

Ya, if we were getting married locally, we probably wouldn’t have done them either. We are going to be at the hotel before anyone else, so we are adding the hotels pamphlets when we get there

One cousin got married and she started this tradition of welcome bags to all family and friends at the hotel staying. Everyone did it different and some essentials that is always useful.

Our wedding took place and we did the same thing as the items in a indian potli bag included:

    2 water bottles

    organza bag with mixed nuts

organza with coin chocolates (5 each bag)

    2 granola bars

    Welcome information

I love this idea! I really want to do something like this as well. How much per bag did you set aside to spend? I don’t want to spend too much on this

I think that's a fun idea, about the list of sights, especially since some of the guests may have not been to the city or are staying for a few days!

This is so cute, and such a good idea! We aren't doing welcome bags, since most of our guests are from the GTA, but if we were, I'd probably try to include a list book about sights to see in the area.
