What options have you already looked at? What kind of vision are you looking for? Don't forget that some places you have looked at may not have your vision, but you can always change it with decoration, lights or other things. I think you need to consider what is most important to you, and then look at location with that in mind. For myself, it was whether it was accessible to everyone (I had lots of out of town guests) and how good they would be with out of town planning, since I don't live where I'll be married. We chose a casino with a beautiful view of the river because they deal with lots of out of town organizers and all our guests could stay at the adjoining hotel.
