What wedding traditions or wedding superstitions do you believe in!?

A lot of people believe that rain on your wedding day is bad luck but according to the Hindu tradition, rain on your wedding day is a form of good luck!

Ancient Greeks and Romans thought the veil protected the bride from evil spirits. Brides have worn veils ever since.

The "something blue" in a bridal ensemble symbolizes purity, fidelity and love.

    I too am staying in a hotel the night before the wedding a peaceful night away with my MOH to just have a relaxing girls night to vent and breathe .... I will not be letting my FH see me before our wedding... or before i walk down the isle... I will be sticking to that tradition .....

    Nice. I am thinking of staying at a hotel the night before to give myself some quiet time and to relax before the wedding.

    I am the same way! I think seeing each other the day before the wedding is bad luck as well! My FH will be spending the night apart! I will be with my bridesmaids in a hotel. He will either be at a hotel or staying at the house, not sure what he wants to do yet!

    I would say seeing one another before the day of getting married is bad luck. I do believe in a lot of traditional things said in terms of good or bad for wedding superstition.
