Are you having your social in Steinbach or Winnipeg? The reason I ask, I looked under the Wedding Wire directory under Transportation for Steinbach and currently there are no vendors listed. I know two common bus companies, Exclusive Bus Line and Tony's Team Bus company. Here is a link as well for other companies to inquire with: Transportation: Manitoba

I recently had my wedding social and would recommend having two sets of tickets. One for the doors and you can sell them to people on Facebook through your friends list, asking your wedding party and family to help sell tickets as well. The second type would be support tickets, this helps a lot as there are guests that are unable to attend but would like the support. As for buses, I can look up some information for you. I will post this soon to you.

I don't know about the bus rentals. But as far as selling tickets; I made an event on FB and had invited basically my entire list and then my wedding party could then invite their friends and family and in the group we wrote that everyone is welcome to bring friends with them. We also went to another jack and jill and met a few people and told them about our jack and jill and they had bought tickets as well just to support us like we had supported them! I was selling them at work as well!
