Hi everyone,Here is the latest update:We received donations for our silent auctions to raffle out at our wedding social!
We received a mixture of gift certificates with some discounted silent auction gift basket that we purchased. We have completed one theme for camping. For the packages were are still working on them. So far, we have a grand prize for a TV with built in DVD player, regular prizes packages for the following groups:WomenMenFamily Sports EnthusiastBabyHealth and Wellness Mystery package - a surprise gift that no one knows about but whomever wins will receive itArt Door prizes - one door prize will be drawn for guests that arrive before 10:00 pm and second one will drawn for all that attended. The guests get two opportunities to win door prizes. Smiley smile Still working on food and have new ideas on decorations for our Italian/Jamaican Wedding social.     Super cool!!!! I'm trying to incorporate mine and my FH's culture too! I have cork place card settings so far, trying to see if the venue can serve a Portuguese Red Wine and Romanian white (if its not that much more in price-its so much cheaper in the liquour store but when restaurant or hall establishments buy it it's like 3 times the price!!!!) And I found out recently that Romanians are known for their glass blowing! So instead of the photobooth idea I thought it would be cool to have a glass blower make figurines for guests to take home. I asked for a quote and am waiting to hear back to see how much! Usually my ideas seem to cost me more money!!! Hahaha it's not like I can DIY glass blowing! Hahahaha So we shall see what they come back with!!!
