Wedding reception question

Amanda, on March 21, 2021 at 09:13 Posted in Wedding reception 0 7
How does one figure out how many candles to have for the table. I'm doing a u-shaped table and with the current restrictions unsure if itll be 10,20 or my max 46 ppl people. This is an example of my table design. Wedding reception question 1

We found that candles (also depending on height) went well with seats of 2-4. I.e. Table of 2 or 4 got 1, table of 6 or 8 got 2. Tables of 10 or 12 got 3. For long tables, if they’re spaced for every other pair of settings, it isn’t too crowded and looks nice.

As I was a regular spiller, one of my coworkers made a beautiful lace bib for my first wedding, it matched quite nicely with my dress and none of the guests even noticed. One suggestion though make sure it’s easy to remove such as a tuck in versus one that ties around your neck

I think a candle at every other plate would be perfect, enough to provide light and a beautiful ambiance for 10 or 20 people. If you are able to have 45 then I would have 1 candle at the first plate, two at the 2nd, then back to one then two....

I would do a practice table and see what spacing you like then extrapolate from there.
