    You're not the only one suffering from nightmare!

    I used to have them really bad when I first started planning that no one would show up, the venue wasn't ready, I wasn't ready, it was raining, I didn't have my centerpiece, etc. I think it's common to have these dreams, it's just so damn real in the moment!

    I've had one my ex partner showed up and you know where they say if anyone has any reason why these 2 can't get married, he stood up and said I do, I'm still in Love with you. Whatttttttt

    then I wake up in a sweat,scary making sure it WAS A NIGHTMARE.

    I have had a few!!! Everytime I'm stressed about a decision I have a nightmare. They're the worst!

    I had one that my mom invited our entire extended family for family photos while I was getting ready and dragged me outside in my dress and ruined the surprise! (My mother is shy and quiet and would never do this haha) and my cousin showed up in her wedding dress (she isn't even coming, as she lives in BC and is expecting a baby 3 days before!)

    And I had another where I was trying to do my own makeup, but couldn't remember how to do it. It took me hours to figure it out, and all of my vendors called and cancelled and my mother said she wouldn't help me until I told her what I want for Christmas! (My wedding is in July!)

    I just try to laugh them off...and then I make reminders in my phone so the things in my dream could never come true (I added reminders to confirm with all of my vendors after that horrible dream haha)

    I haven’t personally but my fiancé has. He dreamt that he left his vows to the morning of (and we’re getting married at 11am so not much time). He ended up managing to write some but then when he got to the alter, they were gone.

    I haven’t had any yet that I can recall!

    I agree with what Tori suggested as it may ease your mind a little.

    Every night. And it's always the centerpieces. WHY??? I swear, after this wedding, I will never have a centerpiece on a table for any reason for the rest of my life.

    Omg. At least once a month I get them. It’s definitely the stress of wedding planning! I actually had one that was so realistic that my FH had to sit up with me for a solid 5 minutes to convince me it was just a dream LOL.
    Dont worry, all will be fine. We’ll get through it!

    I haven’t had any yet but I remember another discussion where someone had one about how rather than releasing doves (which wasn’t really supposed to happen anyway) they were releasing the bees and whenever I think about it I crack up!

    I had one where I was pregnant but I wouldn't be by the time the wedding came around but I didn't have time to get my dress fitted! I totally realize how ridiculous it sounds, but apparently I'm really stressed about it otherwise I wouldn't be dreaming about it!
    Hope your bad dreams stop!

    I've had some for sure, and definitely try and laugh them off!

    1) My FH has cold feet and put his brother as a stand-in;

    2) My mom draaaags my dad and I down the aisle, like there's a sale at the altar;

    3) My parents walk down the aisle without me!;

    4) I walk down the aisle naked!

    I had some a few months back... but I'm only 5 days out now and surprisingly am not getting any. None that I remember anyways. Hopefully that stays true til the big day! LOL.

    It's totally normal though. And don't worry, it will all be fine!

    In the end it WILL all be fine.
    I combat nightmares by not sleeping...haha just kidding. Take a break from planning, write out your worries and then flush or burn them. Distract yourself. Do what ever you have to do to give yourself peace during this planning process.

    I definitely have nightmares lol! Especially if I'm in a productive wedding planning mode/more focused on the wedding. I think it's pretty normal and if you need to talk, your bridal party, parents and the entire wedding wire community are here for you!

    I have heard others express this so don't worry!! It's normal!

    Most say that it's due to stress or worrying about certain things happening so it's just because the wedding is weighing so heavily on your mind.

    I'm assuming if I do get nightmares that they will be closer to the big day but for now being 8 months out I am good for now.

    Try writing all your worries down in a list to look at to take it off your mind and try having a relaxing bubble bath with wine!
