Wedding nightmare

Eartha, on January 6, 2017 at 09:37 Posted in Before the wedding 0 9

Hello all,

Happy new year! I hope all your wedding planning is going smoothly. =]

So I just had my first official wedding nightmare last night, I woke up and was freaking out as it turned out the RSVP system I had set up was ALL messed up and none of the guests got the right food order.

I'm sure there are going to be more of these "nightmares" popping up as our wedding is slowly creeping up.

What are some of your fears you are facing in your upcoming wedding? And how did you manage or settle these fears? Smiley diamond Smiley ring Smiley cake

I had a strange one recently where I decided to do a last minute, impromptu, ceremony because I was inpatient, as I was about to walk down the isle I realized I hadnt told my best friend that I was getting married that day, I just remember panicking that she wasnt there!!! My friend had a good laugh when I told her haha

Haha that's a good one! Most of my wedding dreams were about people leaving the wedding early or the wedding being over and realizing that we didn't do anything like cut the cake or have the first dance! My husband had one where he forgot to bring the vows he'd written so he had to say them from memory. Because he was worried about forgetting them, he dreamt that he blurted them out as soon as I walked down the aisle so we skipped all of our ceremony except for the vows and the "I do's!" Haha we made sure to have backup copies of our vows so that didn't happen on the day of the wedding. Most of the stuff I dreamt was unrealistic so it didn't really cause any additional stress and was just funny like you said! Look forward to hearing more of your wedding dreams! Smiley winking

    Hahahah thanks Valerie!

It just caught me by surprise. But I did expect it to start happening soon.

I'm not too worried about it, just like you and your fh, my fiance and I are just laughing about it right now.

Oh I've been having random wedding nightmares for like a month now... but most of them are dumb and hilarious, so I just tell FH about them and we laugh it off. I can't even remember any of them right now because I forget them almost right away. I think the best thing you can do is just try and put them out of your mind. Plan for what you can but don't worry about what you can't control.
