Wedding in Feb — covid 19 Issues

I have conflicting view points here lol.

1. I think you should be fine however, what is your venue's policy on deposits, cancellations or postponements? I think you should speak with the venue first to find out these answers just to be on the safe side. It will give you a better idea of your options in the event that you can't proceed next Feb.

2. Regarding the court house wedding and using it for the honeymoon - if you both are okay with that, then I'd say go for it! None of us know what's going to happen in the next 6 months or even the next 3 months. I think it just comes down to what type of wedding you want. Can you wait another year? Is it important that all your friends and family attend?

A lot of people on here are already in the position of cancelling or postponing and you have a fresh start because you haven't put anything down which is great.

I think that with your number of people you should be okay. I would wait for how phase 3/4 might be to see the number of people allowed and whether the social distancing will still be in place.
