Wedding Hair and Makeup

I was wondering which option you would choose: #1 Get a mobile hair stylist which would got 300 dollars to get everyone done but hair stylists need to drive 30 mins to get to hotel room. Or #2 pick a salon that is 30 seconds away from hotel get everyone ready at salon which would cost around $500 dollars.

The mobile stylist sounds like the best option to me! If your photographer is covering getting ready time, you could get some really nice photos (and a hotel room might be a nicer setting than a salon for photos).

No difference but if we go with mobile stylist we would have to get a big room at hotel since we will need to make sure room for five people to get ready which costs around $250. for biggest suite.

I have four bridesmaids and my sister is doing my moms hair(my mom only wants curls) and my mother in law does not want her hair done.

I wanted a mobile stylist, but with our large wedding party it made most sense to go to a salon to cut down on time spent getting ready. The average is 45 minutes per person (minimum for updo's). How many of you will be getting their hair done? Don't forget your mother's might want to be included also.

Definitely the mobile stylist! They may have to travel, but that doesn't affect you! And the cheaper route is always a great option!

I would pick the mobile stylist. 1) it saves you money and 2) it's easier for your schedule. You also get to have way more of a personal relationship with them and you can pretty much just lounge in comfies all day until you need to be dressed. I loved having a mobile stylist come to me. That way I didn't have to account for travel time and I was in a comfortable and familiar environment.

Definitely the mobile, come to you, stylist. This way you schedule with your timeline and can stay in comfies, eat, drink, etc.

In general I like having the stylist come to you, because then they have to adjust to your schedule!

Is there a difference in how many stylists you'll have and how long it will take them to do hair and makeup?
