Wedding gift for the Groom

For his birthday this year I got him a super nice watch case, I bought a larger one so he had room to grow. I will be giving him a nice watch to add to his collection. I also plan on a boudoir session most likely for his birthday which is about a month after our wedding or for our anniversary as he is military and gone for months at a time. I figured he would appreciate it.

I had thought about boudoir as well ! but everywhere ive looked , the pricing for the packages seems a bit too high for me especially with all the costs of the wedding. I like the idea of the 1 year anniversary idea ! i may do that as well !

I got my FH a watch for our first anniversary together, and have been thinking about doing that , but i wasn't sure about getting him another one for the wedding. But the idea of engraving it adds just a bit of a different touch, not sure why i never thought about that !!

My FH and I both agreed not to do wedding gifts as we are paying for our wedding and our honeymoon. But... I cracked and I had to get him something special to open before the wedding. I got him a new ecodrive dressy watch with our wedding date engraved on the back. I don't expect anything but I wanted to make him feel special on our day.

A tie pin of his initials is a nice gift to have something personalized for him only.

I dont have much planned for gifts for my FH. A few surprises on our wedding day, a written letter~ maybe a boudoir photoshoot! But were putting a lot into our wedding and then getting a home together after! Dont want to try and force a gift during this time to!

My friends husband purchased her a photo of the stars based on where they met. Something like that. They advertised all over fb a lot awhile ago.
They are from different countries. So it was unique. And affordable.

Got my groom nutella and put on a personalized label reading "premium husband nutella. Better than regular nutella". The ingredients were love and chocolate.

Got a engraved spoon from etsy that said "spooning since 2015"

Depends on your budget and what you like to do!

I'm doing a boudoir photoshoot and I'm also buying him a suunto outdoor watch. I'm not 100%sure, but i believe he is going to be buying me a new DSLR camera. They're not gifts that we would normally buy as just a "gift" but this is a once in a lifetime, special occasion and that makes it worth jt to us!

I think if I was to gift my FH, I would write him a love letter or make a photo album/collage. It's low in cost but has significant meaning. Price doesn't matter, it's the thought that counts!

I was going to do a boudoir shoot... and another bride reminded me that the first anniversary is Paper, so she's saving it for that gift. So now that's what I'm doing.

A watch, a nice one, with a little "I love you" or a personal saying or joke, with your wedding dates, engraved on the back... That's what I'm doing. It's even an ongoing joke now with us that in the time we've been together (just over 6 years by the wedding), I've bought him his watches. Only 2, but with the 3rd being at the wedding... now it's a trend. Haha.

I'm not sure of any of the pricing on these but I know that the two most common options are a Boudoir shoot or a watch. Of course others like to be different and get them something that he will like such as concert tickets, golf clubs, or really anything tailored to him.
