Wedding Favours

Amanda, on March 10, 2022 at 08:58 Posted in Wedding reception 0 4

Hi everyone, if you are doing wedding favours are you doing per person or per household? I'm very torn on which one to go with, obviously per household is more budget friendly but I hate the idea of anyone feeling like they cant have a favour if they want one. Right now we are leaning towards infused olive oil as our favour, if we have any leftovers being a food item its not like they will go to waste (especially with my Italian side of the family haha) I'm not including kids in our favour count since I want to make all the younger kids their own busy bags to keep them occupied during dinner, this is strictly speaking for adult guest. I would love any thoughts from other brides to help me make this choice.

Thanks everyone, we did decide to go with individual bottles so everyone can have one. Growing up when we went to weddings favours were always by household/couple so it was just an understood thing I guess but times change 🖤

I agree with Hank, I would go with the smaller bottles. If one breaks in travel cleaning up a small bottle of oil is easier than cleaning a large one....

I think it might be hard to manage per household. How do you place that? Might be hard to prevent people taking more than you wanted?

I think Hank has the right idea, make a larger batch and offer smaller individual sized options.

Would you be using the same sized bottle if it was per household? Because if you're using a bigger bottle for household vs single, I don't think there's enough of a cost savings to do it this way as opposed to having each person take their own.

Personally, I would do a bigger batch of smaller bottles and give them individually. You can also do different flavours.
