Wedding favour?

Katherine, on April 29, 2017 at 00:26 Posted in DIY 0 19
Hello, For my wedding I want to do wedding favours that people will actually like and use/keep. I have seen many lovely ideas, but I'm not sure what will be the most liked. I love the idea of seeds to plant but I don't think a lot of people will actually plant them. And with candy or a snack I'm not sure what to get that will be the most generally liked.
Does anyone have suggestions?

I put in little bottles of hand sanitizers with chocolates. The hand sanitizers are small and can easily be added to a purse or back pocket. I made sure to get a Irish Spring kind of smell for the men too!

I'm making a survival guide and putting tissues and water in a thing.
Then everyone will get chocolates and I am debating making soap or a bathbomb.

How about making homemade goods that can be put into organza bags for favours to take home? I have also seen cake slice boxes filled with chocolates put together as a wedding cake. This way guests help themselves to a box.

We decided in chocolate chip cookies, a snack for the ride home. We're going to put them in brown paper bags with a thank you message stamped on each bag

I didn't get them because we are big drinkers!! Funny thing, I don't drink at all, and I'm the one who wanted it because when I cook with wine I always struggle go put the cork back in the bottle! Hahaha Plus we are doing a Champagne Brunch and it went with our theme. I'm sure you'll find something appropriate for you.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think all our guests will use bottle openers, and my FH and I aren't heavy drinkers so I don't think that will represent us well. I like the donation idea though, since it's hard to find something that will be used and liked by all

We did bottle openers for our engagement party (we are making a donation on behalf us our guests for our wedding). I wanted something useful, practical and a reminder of our event!

Was hoping to get suggestions from other brides to narrow down my search from 'wedding favours' to something more specific

You could also do small paper bags or tins with herbal tea and just put a cute label on it.

It's an all-purpose mix with a brown sugar base. You could also look at this site for some ideas and/or inspiration.

They look lovely but unfortunately I don't think all my guests would use beer bottle openers, and I would hate for it to go to waste and for some people to leave with nothing.

Check out Amazon. You can find favours at great cost there. We opted for antique key bottle openers 120 of them ran us $80
