Wedding Favors?

We are thinking about heart shaped salt and pepper shakers. Our wedding theme is love and our colours are pink and silver with touches of white

I like that idea! I agree with Amanda, I’ve been to soooo many weddings and the favours are usually dust collectors, so your idea sounds unique and different!! My fiancé and I are going to be doing a donation to the cancer society (as cancer has deeply affected both of our lives) instead! And just going to put out a card or sign that says we’ve done it

We brewed a custom beer that went inside a bottle instead of a beer glass. Printed a label and slapped it on ourselves. It wasn't too expensive, similar to buying a case of 24 at the Beer Store. We just did it a month before the wedding.

I like the personalized beer bottle, but like Amanda said, favors are overrated, and people will only drink them or eat them.

Not a lot of guests will take them home.

I think it's cute if there is like back story that the couple met at a brewery or had a first date there and it's maybe a beer they made - I think that's fun. I think anything you can eat or drink is nice for guests.

I personally think wedding favors are over rated. Most of the time guests don't take them home and that's money wasted in my eyes. My husband and I didn't have favors at our wedding last summer. Instead when we did out thank you cards we gave everyone a 5 by 10 photo of our group shot

My friend got married and had wine glass charms with a wine glass. Although I still think it was such a lovely gift, most guests left them behind. The few who took them said they had a random glass that didn’t fit their set. The beer glass idea is similar, and I really like it but it may not be the best gift.
