Amanda, on February 24, 2017 at 13:35 Posted in Wedding reception 0 11
I was wondering how many wedding favors do people usually have for guests. This is my first wedding and i'm not sure how many i actually need. I would appreciate the help thanks!! Amanda

Hey Amanda! Smiley heart That sounds amazing! I love the idea of having both edibles with bubbles or bells Smiley smile Will the bubbles be for your ceremony exit or reception entrance?

Thanks for everyone's advice. I will definately keep it simple by having either chocolate or candy and i will have bubbles and that's it 😄

Chocolate and candy are great! Just make sure it doesn't melt!

Well bubbles/bells aren't really FAVORS.. they're for you for the photos. So I don't think it's too much. I personally prefer bubbles over bells

Thanks everyone!! I was going to put chocolates or candy in a fancy box and also have bubble favors and maybe a bell or something. Is that too much?

I am doing one per family/couple. It is a larger favour though, rather than something small.

I say if its something small do one per person.

Usually 1 per person is what I have seen at weddings. That is what we are doing!

As Val said- one per guest is pretty typical, although if you are doing something larger like a picture frame or kitchen item one per couple/ household might be fine (if more than one would be a bit redundant).

I like the idea of giving sweet treats as favours, cost effective for large numbers, and most people will take them (or eat them right there!)

It's usually one per guest or one per couple if it's something that they would only need one per household. We did a specialty chocolate and put them at the place settings so that everyone got one and they didn't have to worry about forgetting to pick one up.

Usually you do one for every guest (not toddlers or kids, depending on what it is, if you are having kids). What are you thinking of doing?!?
