Hi Everyone,


I don’t know if this is okay but I’m lowkey stressing lol. We are currently trying to budget for Vancouver wedding in 2025, and honestly I don’t know the range of what some things cost… an example being florals, transportation, etc. I know it really depends on you and what you want, but I was wondering if anyone who has gotten married or is currently farther ahead in the wedding process could discuss what they noticed when booking those types of vendors. I’m also more curious because some venues include things that others don’t and I’m not sure if it is a good price then or not.

    I'm planning a April 2025 wedding in Langley.

    We're doing a small ceremony with just our wedding party at a local park so minimal ceremony costs.

    Reception - 5300, access 8am-2am on a Saturday

    Catering - 3800 for woodfire pizza buffet being made fresh to order and sides

    Photographer - 2000 for single shooter, 8 hours of coverage

    Cake for 60-75 - 500-600

    makeup - around 600 for myself and 5 others

    Florals - being quoted around 1500 but still looking around

    I'm planning a July 2024 wedding in the Fraser Valley, and here are the approximates:

    - day of coordinator: $1200

    - cake for 65 people: $500

    - Photographer: $4100 for 8 hours coverage + engagement shoot

    - Officiant: going with a marriage commissioner because they charge $78 + tax!

    - Reception and ceremony: $11000 (approximate) - mind you, it's a lunch reception.

    - Flowers: I'm getting quotes now for around $1200, though many places start at $2000

    My husband and I got married in Kelowna last summer and we paid 1000 for our day of Coordinator, 550 for our cake, 2500 for our photographers. Pastor was 400 and our venue for ceremony and reception was 13,500 which included food and alcohol. Flowers were 950. Transportation we opted out for.
