Wedding ceremony

Laura, on January 14, 2020 at 20:24 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 9

I guess I am just really interested in hearing how everyone's wedding day was scheduled. When did you get yourself ready(how long before the ceremony?) What time did you have your guests show up and then what time did you arrive?

Thanks!

We started getting ready around 8 am for our 3 pm ceremony, but photographer wanted us ready for 2 pm to do boudoir and bridal party shots.

Everyone was done make up/hair by 12:30 pm so we were able to grab something to eat and chill out before go time! We probably could've started hair and make up at 9 am but that would've been where we were rushed and not ready on time.

We're a long way from confirming this but here's what I'm thinking:

    9/10am: hair and makeup start

12pm: photographer/videographer arrive at guys' location for getting ready shots

1pm: photographer/videographer arrive at girls' location for getting ready shots

    2/2:30pm: girls head to venue

    3pm: guests start arriving

    3:30pm: ceremony start

Our venue was one for everything and we took 1 hour for each our families getting ready time and then wedding party. The group shots after the ceremony took a good 45 minutes and with family too. The wedding was 4:30pm and pictures started at 1 for outfits, accessories, suits, accessories, invites, welcome package and ceremony items.

My ceremony starts at 12:30pm and my hair and make up people are coming for 7:00am. I only have myself and three others that need hair and make up but we also need 30 minutes to get to the church and then an hour or so for at home photos.

So I’ll be done hair and make up by 11:00am.
Guests can show up anytime really at the church, most im assuming will come between 12 and 12:20.
I’m hoping to get there at 12:20-12:25!
