I can’t quite remember, but I think ours was about 200-250. It was two tiers with a simple butter cream frosting. It was enough for our 40 guests and there was still some left over.

I hear you. Cakes aren’t cheap but I still found a deal. Other bakeries in my city wanted to charge me 800 or more for what I wanted. So gross. It doesn’t even cost that much.

We are having a family friend make a one tier cake simply for us to cut our caterer includes dessert so its just something we are going to save money on. Our family friend is making it as our wedding gift as well which is wonderful!

We’re getting (3) double tiers and (1) faux tier with two flavours. We’ve also requested that the flavours be made more intense which she was happy to do for us. We’re having Lemon with raspberry filling and Baileys Irish Cream with Vanilla bean filling. Plus our baker will accommodate dietary needs or allergies. $500

We are going with a small-town bakery and got a really good deal - 70 cupcakes, 4 different flavors with filling, with two extra large cupcakes on top with Mr. and Mrs..... alongside 70 custom sugar cookies wrapped nicely with our initials in our wedding colors as our wedding favors. We rented a stand from them and they are doing the delivery and set up and including take home boxes... all for $200. We had a tasting and they are DELICIOUS.

I got a 6" one tier cake for us to enjoy ourselves, and then 3 different cupcake flavours; enough to feed 100 people. We also rented the cupcake stand from them, and because they are from a different city, they had to deliver it as well. For all of that it was $410, which is a really good cost considering everything they did for us!

Hi Andrea, We've opted for a white Costco slab cake for 30 people. I didn't want to put all that money into a cake. Our buffet will have a nice selection of deserts so I just needed something to cut. I've heard good things about Costco cakes. They were very accommodating with my colours and there will be room for my little bride and groom. Very cost effective at $20.00.

I got an 8inch cake to cut and mini cupcakes for $240. I wanted a traditional 3 tiered cake but it had to come from a certified baker and I didn't want t to pay $600.

Ours will be $600 for 3 tier cake!

We got a 2 tier cake that will be our "cut" cake and it will feed 60 of our guests and we got a flat sheet that will feed the other 90. We didn't inquire if they deliver, which I will DEFINITELY be doing, but our cost for our cake was $300.

We have gotten mini pies (4 dozen), mini cupcakes (6 dozen - 2 different flavours) and mini brownies (2 dozen) for $286. We got stuff at 2 different bakeries, one of which is a gluten-free vegan bakery.

The cake I want is $1400 and I was okay with that UNTIL I saw what everything else was going to cost like venue and photography. Also my wedding planners told they know a vendor that can do it for cheaper, maybe about $800 So we'll see.

Ours is 400$ for a 3 tier 100 serving cake. Buttercream and 3 different flavors.

And a rate of 70$ for delivering it. NOT TO SHABBY I would say!!

It's so hard to get a "cheap" cake in our city as we have limited bakeries who make wedding cakes. We could have gone with a cake through our venue but we knew it wouldn't have been exactly what we wanted.

We're only getting a small one layer cake. Everyone is getting cake as a part of the dinner service, so we didn't want to spend tons of money on more cake! But I've heard people spend LOTS on cakes.

Yikes. I wish mine was only $93 lol. We are having a three tiered cake that will feed around 70-80 people and it is costing us $630. That includes renting a cake stand from her and deliver and set up.

We got a 12" cake from a local bakery and they charged us $93 since it was a custom job. We didn't do a lot of cake planning, since we decided fairly last minute to even have one.
