Wedding Arbor/doors

Kelly, on June 5, 2019 at 03:22 Posted in DIY 0 3
We are getting married outside and I want a way to hide myself before making my appearance to the aisle... I was thinking of An arbour with curtains and getting people to close them after the bridesmaid walk down and opening with the flower girls and me? Or doors of some sort?

any suggestions? Has anyone had this problems before?

I'll be waiting in an open-ish area too, but will be able to stay hidden until the processional starts, then I hope people will focus on that and not the bride waiting lol. I'm not going out of my way to conceal myself until my walk down the aisle.

I like that idea - I'm considering it for my wedding, but I'm not going to be too torn if we skip it and you can see me coming (we will be having first look photo's).

It would be fairly easy to build this (at least it would for my FH who is a carpenter):

I think this can be done. My cousin got married last year and had doors at the end of the isle that she had closed before she walked down. It was really nice.

Curtains may be a little easier, but you want to make sure they are not super see through.
