After a 2 year engagement, we DID NOT want to postpone our day to next year. We decided early that we were getting married on our day, even if it was just the 2 of us. Luckily we were able to make some changes with our venue and had a beautiful outdoor wedding with 100 of our original guests. The day was beautiful and went so smoothly! It didn't even feel like a covid wedding!
The only disappointment was that we couldn't have our originally planned dance with a live band. The night ended a little earlier than I had dreamed about, but it was cold and dancing was a no go!
All in all, I would not have changed a thing. You CAN have an amazing wedding in the middle of a pandemic, you just need a little faith, love and great compromising skills!
