We did it! 🤗 We postponed our big celebration until next year and went through with a small ceremony this past weekend with our immediate family and bridal party at my in-laws farm. While the day was a bit of an emotional roller coaster with rain, wind, and even a power outage 😬, things calmed down literally right before the ceremony and everything ended up beautiful! In the interest of safety (we had some more vulnerable guests), we didn’t do an actual reception, we just did cookies, cupcakes, and a champagne toast. It was a short but sweet celebration. I’m so happy we went through with it and fingers crossed we can celebrate with all of our family and friends next August!
