Was his proposal a surprise?

We've only been together for about 6 months.. He proposed around end of October. He plans on giving me the ring on Christmas.

It was a bit of a surprise. We had talked about it and I had mentioned that I wanted a forever. I never thought he'd want this so early in the relationship but I also kept sending hints. I suspected it the moment he said he wanted to get me jewellery for Christmas. I bugged him enough and he said he wants me to be his forever. The engagement ring has yet to be received!

His proposal was a surprise as he totally thrrew my off. I suspected but because he threw me off and proposed on my birthday, it was a shocker. I will never forget it and it was the best birthday and one of the best sentimental moment of my life.

Yes my proposal was a surprise. I had no clue he bought me my dress, shoes and accessories, he spoke to my hair dresser for her to do my hair, all I knew was that we were going to a black tie affair. When we got there our families were all there and that's when he proposed. Our officiant was also there and blessed my engagement ring and blessed our engagement.

Not a surprise at all we talked about it. He asked and I said yes

It was a surprise for me (which is an accomplishment as I like to be 2 steps ahead at all times ), he knew that I thought he was proposing month before he did and that I was driving myself crazy trying to anticipate it, so the Monday at the end of the May long weekend we came in our bedroom at like 11pm with his guitar to play me the song he was writing for me (I knew he was writing me a song, he's a musician and I had been jokingly bugging him about how none of his songs were about me and "demanded" his next one be for me). So because I was tired I didn't think the timing was super weird.

Well it was a beautiful song about me and I cried and then he pulled out this tin that I got ages ago that had been sitting in our living room for months and opened it up and pulled out a ring box, then walked around the bed and got down on one knee and simply asked if I'd marry him.

It was just perfect
