Origami! i bought 5 different colours of printer paper in dark purple, light purple, peach, light pink and dark pink and have been using the paper to create our bouquets, and decorations for the wedding. Each pack was 10 to 15$ and we've been folding cranes and making flowers for the last 4 months. It's been fun and gives my hands something to do when I am at work!

We plan to save money buy ordering Costco flowers. I plan to assemble myself with a few close friends! I like white, simple and elegant and flowers are beautiful on their own, so it won't be hard to have them look nice!

Our friends and families each have their own talents and hobbies so we plan to ask for their help! We have a friend who does photography so we plan to ask her and maybe have a little discount there, we have an uncle who does printing so we plan to get our invites done with him! E-mail invites are a good way to save money since you won't have to pay for the card, printing and postage!

We aren't picky on decor so we won't be upgrading to add different colours or fancier napkins and stuff like that-we just want white everything and simple! The venues we looked at, their standard decor is nice and doesn't cost extra!

We are going to DIY all the flowers... We are rading my mom's neighbors gardens and buying bulk flowers from Costco... I intend to make my own veil and my MIL is knitting me a sweater to go with my dress in case it gets chilly... We are also DIYing the invitations... I bought a kit from party city (mostly for the envelopes) and parchment card stock from Walmart then downloaded a free template and font... It cost $45 for 100 invitations, (invitation holder, invite, RSVP, reception card, info card, thank you card, and envelopes)

    Costco or a cash & carry ????
To buy things in bulk to save on later -- like napkins - plates - cutlery - banquet roll - and also food if ur going buffet style
Ebay - wish apps have beautiful wedding decor - then even have nice things at our dollarama store here
Someone said once in here something along line of "caviar wedding on a pb&j budget " -- it can be done -- i was at a jack & jill recently and it looked "cheap" -- and the music was horrible and i swore thats not happening with ours
But most importantly -- its yours and partners day and yay!!! You do whatever you have to do -- Its wedding -- good luck :-))
