Vows

Also getting married July 18. Haven't even started our vows yet 😳 we are going to try & come up with something but if we can't find the right words we may just use the traditional vows

Write down things you love about him and then remember stories of what hes done and jot them down. you can also youtube other peoples speeches online

Writing vows is hard though knowing some moments that do make it worthwhile to share being funny or shared by you two is nice to add. Little teaser of a joke he will get you say is cute too.

The way I see it, its as if your writing a essay with things that make him special in your life and how you want to carry those moments onwards.

I started writing my vows months ago for our December wedding but lately, I’ve been going back to them and finding it hard to recite them because I’m still nervous our wedding won’t happen. I love writing so I can typically find the words without issues but not lately.
I’m not sure my FH has even started on his. I should check on that ha ha.


On another note, July 18th is my birthday so it’s so nice to hear about couples getting married on that day ❤️

I feel you! It’s a struggle that’s for sure!
Are there any funny or cute stories you like to tell of the two of you? I’ve found they make great jumping-off points to work with. Plus the reminder of happier times can sometimes help make us feel better drafting and during the ceremony.
