Yes! So much trouble. I’ve found it helpful to just keep jotting down ideas and then once in a while scanning over them to add or cut what I don’t like anymore. Now I have 29 days to really put it all together but at least I have sentences to work with.

I also have been finding it helpful to listen to other people’s vows just to get an idea of formatting. I wasn’t thinking about an intro until I did this and realized I can’t just jump into “I promise/vow”. Sounds much better if there’s a “when we met” or something along those lines to begin with.

Yes! So yes! I was really desperate and distraught over our vows. I put them off thinking the would be easy. It was a nightmare, but in the end my hubby found us this video and it was exactly what I needed! Maybe it could help you? Good luck! https://www.udemy.com/how-to-write-your-perfect-wedding-vows

I have been jotting down ideas for my vows for the past year and am now in the process of putting all those thoughts together. To help find my wording for some things I have listened to a lot of songs and googled some real life examples of vows. It has helped a lot!

    Good luck!

Write them down a little bit at a time. Think about things that you two say to each other all the time and include those. It will all come together when the time is right!

What I will probably do is write out little bits on post-it notes of things to say and then put them all together and rearrange as necessary for my vows! My mind goes blank when I think about writing them out in one go!

Also if you've booked your officiant, ask them about any ideas/tips or search online for vow writing templates.

Have you considered talking to the person officiating your wedding about your vows? They may be able to help! There are also resources online that provide general templates that could help you get started.

I've been making small notes as I think of things to say but I'm terrified to try and put it into actual words.... in so bad at writing it's going to be a mish mash of lovey nonsense hahah
