Has anyone ever done a virtual bridal party? If so what did you do and how many people did you invite?

My office used zoom to have a virtual Christmas party. We had "rooms" with different activities so you could do something similar with digital versions of shower games. The rooms let you keep groups small so that they can talk a bit easier. You could do some ice breaker games if not everyone knows everyone else, online two truths and a lie was a huge hit in our office earlier this year. The hardest thing about online gatherings to me is that only one person at a time can speak, so games that focus on a person at a time would be easier in my opinion.

You could also invite people to share their favorite photo of the bride and the groom, this would be especially fun if older aunts and grandmothers are online as they usually have the embarrassing baby/childhood photos. You could request them beforehand and make guessing the ages a game or you could invite people to share the photos and a little backstory during the party.

I think this really depends on what you want the shower for. If it's just the bridal party catching up (especially if everyone is not acquainted, it could be a way for them to get to know each other), that would work. Unlike a physical party, I wouldn't mix groups (ie don't add aunts and grannies into your bridal party virtual chat).
