Video without a TV or projector?!

JJJJ, on July 15, 2019 at 06:47 Posted in Before the wedding 0 4
I made a video that I need guests to see before the wedding, but there won’t be a TV or projector. The wedding is in a backyard.
The best solution I have is to provide a link to a private YouTube video (also not sure yet which option will make a video accessible only by link, but I’m pretty sure that exists). I can send it to guests before the wedding and also remind them to watch while they arrived and are waiting.
But it isn’t exactly elegant and also I can only encourage but can’t make sure people watch it with this method.
Any alternatives??

    Hi there JJJJ.

If this is a video people HAVE to see, it would be best to get it displayed somehow at the wedding because you can't trust people will take the time before the wedding to watch it.

Could you rent a projector and project on to a wall at the venue?

Alternatively, as Tori mentioned, is the content or information in the video something you could communicate a different way? For example in a wedding program or signage?

I'm sure someone in the family works there with a projector they can borrow and a screen on a tripod holder for your guests to see and making sure its covered so that the sun isn't putting any glare on it while playing.

I mean, if it is absolutely essential that they watch a video before the wedding I would say best option is to get a projector and you can put it on the side of the house or something instead of getting a screen?

Otherwise you are just hoping they watch it and there is NO guarantee that they do.

Is it just an information type video? Like "no cameras, food is at this time" type video? If so, signs would work as well as pamphlets.
